irgendwie, irgendwo, irgendwann - nena

im sturz durch raum und zeit
richtung unendlichkeit,
fliegen wir wie motten in das licht,
genau wie du und ich.

irgendwie fängt irgendwann
irgendwo die zukunft an,
ich warte nicht mehr lang.
liebe wird aus mut gemacht,
denk nicht lange drüber nach,
wir fahrn auf feuerrädern
richtung zukunft in die nacht.

gib mir die hand,
ich bau dir ein schloß aus sand,
irgendwie, irgendwo, irgendwann.

irgendwie, irgendwo, irgendwann.

losing my religion - r.e.m.

Life is bigger
It's bigger than you
And you are not me
The lengths that I will go to
The distance in your eyes
Oh no I've said too much
I set it up

That's me in the corner
That's me in the spotlight
Losing my religion
Trying to keep up with you
And I don't know if I can do it
Oh no I've said too much
I haven't said enough
I thought that I heard you laughing
I thought that I heard you sing
I think I thought I saw you try

Every whisper
Of every waking hour I'm
Choosing my confessions
Trying to keep an eye on you
Like a hurt lost and blinded fool
Oh no I've said too much
I set it up

Consider this
The hint of the century
Consider this
The slip that brought me
To my knees failed
What if all these fantasies
Come flailing around
Now I've said too much
I thought that I heard you laughing
I thought that I heard you sing
I think I thought I saw you try

But that was just a dream
That was just a dream

let go - frou frou

drink up baby down
are you in or are you out?
leave your things behind
'cause it's all going off without you
excuse me too busy you're writing a tragedy
these mess-ups
you bubble-wrap
when you've no idea what you're like

so, let go
so, let go
jump in
oh well, what you waiting for?
it's all right
'cause there's beauty in the breakdown
so, let go
so, let go
just get in
oh, it's so amazing here
it's all right
'cause there's beauty in the breakdown

it gains the more it gives
and then advances with the form
so, honey, back for more
can't you see that all the stuff's essential?
such boundless pleasure
we've no time for later
now you can wait
you roll your eyes
we've twenty seconds to comply

so, let go
so, let go
jump in
oh well, what you waiting for?
it's all right
'cause there's beauty in the breakdown
so, let go
so, let go
just get in
oh, it's so amazing here
it's all right
'cause there's beauty in the breakdown

such great heights - the postal service / [iron and wine]

i am thinking it's a sign
that the freckles in our eyes are mirror images
and when we kiss they're perfectly aligned
and i have to speculate
that god himself did make us into corresponding
shapes like puzzle pieces from the clay
and true, it may seem like a stretch,
but it's thoughts like this that catch my troubled head
when you're away when i am missing you to death
when you are out there on the road
for several weeks of shows and when you scan the radio,
[oh] i hope this song will guide you home

they will see us waving from such great heights,
"come down now," they'll say
but everything looks perfect from far away,
"come down now," but we'll stay...

i tried my best to leave
this all on your machine
but the persistent beat it sounded thin upon listening
and that frankly will not fly.
you will hear the shrillest highs and lowest lows
with your windows down when this is guiding you home

they will see us waving from such great heights,
"come down now," they'll say
but everything looks perfect from far away,
"come down now," but we'll stay...
